is where you will find news and views on
the wider issues related to islands and coastal communities
wherever they may be. Articles
are Written or found by the emara News Team or submitted by
people just like you. We are always pleased to receive stories
from new sources, professional or amateur; but remember to
acknowledge where a story came from, if it isn’t an original.
You might find that one of the other sections in the “News
Index” such as: Environmental News, or Disability News or
Poetry, is more suitable. Our section for Irish Language news
and articles is Nuacht. This will be subdivided as variety and
number of articles increase.
